Front Row At Karen K London Fashion Week

If you like shoes, handbags, drop dead glamour and show-stopping elegance then I think you’ll like this blog post. It contains lots of images of the shoes, handbags and accessories from the new Karen K boutique collection.

Karen, who is photographed in the red maxi dress in the pic below, chose to hold her London Fashion Week show in the historical splendour of the Bloomsbury Baptist Church in central London.

It was such a cool experience to watch a fashion show in a Church and then go down to the basement, where 12 other desifgners were exhibiting their work -all organised by the Bloomsbury Set event organisers. I can tell you that if I get invited to another Bloomsbury Set event I will be attending if they throw more events like this!

I took my new Chihuahua puppy Zizzi (short for Paparazzi) to sit Front Row with me – it was very cool that we were sat in pews. Zizzi is starting her own blog soon (with a name like she has it’d be rude not to). But while she works on technical issues, I’m writing it all on my blog instead. This is Zizzi:

And this is a selection of images, showcasing the best Karen K bags and shoes. This was definitely my fave bag – I want this for my next weekend away.

Check out these red glitter shoes and red clutch – very Wizard of Oz.

The range contains shoes and bags for all eventualities. These strappy sandals are definitely the sexiest though. WOW!

But for a feminine, girly look I loved these ankle strap sandals

For times when you need a chic and sophisticated look, you can’t beat a bit of black and gold

There were peep toe shoe boots…

And a very fierce pair of patterned ankle boots

Stay tuned to the Karen K website for details of the new collection. I’m not the only one who was impressed as you can see Zizzi was pretty mesmerised by Karen K!

Artist Pandemonia and her dog Snowy also told me they enjoyed the show. Zizzi and Snowy are hoping their owners take them to more shows. Snowy’s more experienced than Zizzi so Zizzi was looking at her intently in the photo below:

Visit the Karen K website to see the current range and sales and to keep updated on new products. One major incentive is that the shoes have been designed so they’re easy to walk in and to make sure you avoid back pain. This is all because Karen, who was an internationally famous model, had experience walking in heels and wanted to design something truly glamorous that was also kind to her feet. I can tell from the photos above that she achieved the first goal and everyone who has a pair tells me they’re the most comfortable shoes they’ve ever worn. Shopping time!
