VIP Meet&Greet: Becoming Part Of The Crowd

One way to meet celebrity VIPs; or at least be in the same room as them, is to be an audience member on one of their shows. I know this can be a little tricky, with some of the most popular TV shows (with some of the biggest star guests) being booked up months in advance, but often with new shows – or slightly less well-known ones, the studios want to fill up audience seating (it looks much better full when it’s filmed for TV!).

hollyIf you know where to go to get the right information, there are plenty of ways to find deals and freebies for these kind of events. This week, Lost in TV are offering free tickets for the ITV show Surprise Surprise, hosted by Holly Willoughby. The filming will take place in The London Studios, easily accessible from Waterloo Station, on Saturday 7th September, Sunday the 8th and Monday the 23rd September from 5.15pm or 5.45pm – check their website for exact details.

russellIf it’s comedy you are into, I’ve had friends that have gotten free tickets to see  the likes of Al Murray, Russell Howard and Lee Nelson from signing up, free of charge, to or for the reality TV show lovers, try Applause Store for Britain’s Got Talent audition tickets, Big Brother eviction night tickets or the X Factor live finals shows. They also advertise panel show audience tickets for shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Stephen Fry’s BBC show, Q.I.
