Whilst many of us can only dream of owning real Prada and constantly hope to blag, beg, steal and borrow without returning the actual products, there are a lucky few who are fortunate enough to be able to own such luxury.
Now those fortunate few are going to be able to really put their stamp on their fashion items by personalising them.
Prada are launching a Made to Order Lettering service for items from its travel collection. This will mean that backpacks, trolleys and totes can all be customized with shopper’s initials. What a handy and expensive way to identify your luggage at the airport.
Whilst us bitter mere mortals look on, celebrities such as Kate Winslet and Renee Zellweger have already been papped with their initial totes. Damn them.
Kate Middleton loves TK Maxx:
Kate Middleton is really growing on us. Shunning an array of designer outfits to pose for her official engagement snaps in a two year old blouse was the first inkling that she’s a girl after our own hearts.
Now our love for Kate has been cemented further as a source claims that her favourite clothing store as a student was none other than TK Maxx.

Alexa has a little sister:
Alexa Chung is rather fond of a Mulberry bag or two. So fond that the designer label went as far as to create a line of bags named the Alexa.
The Alexa bag created a fashion frenzy, with customers desperate to get their hands on a piece of the British style icon.
But Alexa will have to battle some sibling rivalry, as the fashion label introduces Alexa’s little sister bag, the Tillie.
Creative Director of Mulberry, Emma Hill said:
“We absolutely LOVE the Tillie! She is as iconic and quintessentially Mulberry as Alexa and Bayswater,”
“She is as easy to wear and as instantly ‘how did I survive without her?!’. She’s just a little more uptown and a little cheekier, with gorgeous trompe l’oeil hardware – I want her now!!”
From slouchy styles to satchels, the Tillie is available in an array of pastel shades, including pale denim and pink ponyskin.
Great. Another bag to have serious label envy over. Hello, overdraft!
Gwen Stefani signs to L’Oreal:
Gwen Stefani has been announced as the latest edition to the L’Oreal family, becoming the face for Infallible Le Rouge lip colour. Considering her gorgeous plumped lips barely go a day without a thick gloss of red lippie, we’d say she’s the perfect fit.
Speaking about the campaign, Gwen said:
“I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oreal Paris girls. I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favourite parts of being in a band. To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky, lucky girl.”
Gwen’s first ad will ensure massive audience numbers as its set to appear during the Golden Globes.
Kim Cattrall new face of Olay:
Kim Cattrall is the new face of Olay’s Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging Body Wash & Body Lotion and considering the actress always manages to defy her 54 years, we’d say she’s a damn good fit.
The adverts have been praised for not over airbrushing the images, as Kim is pictured with visible lines and wrinkles. Proving that you can age gracefully and still look bleeding hot.
Speaking about the product, Kim said:
“It’s important that I keep my body skin looking smooth and radiant. Now that I’ve swapped to Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash and Body Lotion, it’s never been easier to achieve firm skin that looks younger after just one shower.”
