  • So chic darling! Thandie Newton lead the fashion pack at Harper’s Bazaar LFW closing party

London Fashion Week may well be over (sniff, sniff), but you didn’t expect the fashionistas to leave quietly did you?

Last night saw style bible Harper’s Bazaar, throw the official closing party for LFW at super trendy Mark’s Club.

Everyone from models, actresses, designers and television presenters enjoyed the final night of LFW.

We adored Thandie Newton’s plunging black, Vivienne Westwood trouser suit, accompanied with glittery Stella McCartney heels. We wish we could steal her style.

Daisy Lowe pulled off casual chic in a black knitted jumper and baby pink pencil skirt. Whilst Laura Whitmore looked as though she may have been missing clothes, as her  beige trench left little to the imagination.

We were most confused over Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern’s electric blue padded jacket – she looked as though search and rescue had just found her abandoned off sea.

  • VIP Hot New Venue: Ling Ling

    Celebrity Venue | Ling Ling

It’s always big news when a new club or bar opens in London town. Last night saw the launch of Ling Ling, the sister bar of super swanky Hakkasan. The Chinese restaurant is favourites of the likes of J-Lo and Beyonce and we expect this new bar to be just as popular with the celebrities.

Model Daisy Lowe, DJ’d at the party yesterday evening and said she is mega excited about the trendy new bar in one of her favourite restaurants. Daisy always has immaculate make-up and said she is a big fan of British based brands. Yesterday she slicked on someRimmel Colour Mousse to brighten up her peepers – we definitely want to get the London look.

Made in Chelsea reject Kimberley Garner was dressed in white (again). When we caught up with Kim she said she has been taking a break from the Chelsea scene and wants to avoid the issues from the last season of MIC. On the upside she confessed she has been slathering on the Fake Bake tan – yessss, we can get her glow.

If you fancy a great night out at one of London’s most exclusive restaurant bars then see below…

How to get in: Booking is essential. Hakkasan is busy most nights, and we can imagine the new addition to the restaurant is going to be just as busy. Either call 0207 927 7000 or visit the website.

How much to pay: Expect to pay anything from £10 for a cocktail upwards – it’s lovely, but an expensive night all round, especially if you treat yourself to some food.

  • VIP Press Night: Forever Crazy by Crazy Horse

Celebrity Launch | Forever Crazy by Crazy Horse

Last night London’s Southbank welcomed the children of rock royalty from across the globe to launch the London production of the Parisian cabaret show Crazy Horse. The act consists of famous existing Crazy Horse dances and some new ones just for the London show. The dancers (above) will be shaking their bottoms on the stage to spectacular music, lighting and sets. If you love cabaret and fast paced dancing, then this Parisian show is one to watch.

Daisy Lowe took time out of her London Fashion Week duties to support one of her favourite stage shows in the world. The model, who is rumored to be back together with Doctor Who star Matt Smith looked super trendy in her midi skirt and leather jacket. Daisy said although she loves LFW she thinks the high street have some fabulous copies and has been getting her fashion fix from Urban Outfitters – lunch time purchase sorted.

Kelly Osbourne, who is in town to support BFF Henry Holland at LFW still looks super skinny after her dramatic weight loss last year. Ozzy’s daughter, who was not happy with the way she looked after leaving rehab, had an image overhaul and cut out sugary foods and started running. Kel said she still loves Jammie Dodgers, but said the best thing for you to work the calories off is to join a running club.

Tali Lennox recycled the leather hat from the Burberry fashion show earlier in the week – do models do that? The model, whose mum recently got hitched again said she couldn’t be happier. Tali said we will be seeing a lot more of her during the next year as she has some major campaigns in the pipeline – we wonder what gorgeous guy she will be modeling with next? Sigh!

Former Pussycat Doll, Kimberly Wyatt looked uber glam in a slash fronted mini dress and killer quiff. The dancer always looks so damn perfect, we are a little bit jealous. Kim told us that she has started using Lancome Visonnaire to keep pores and spots at bay – if this makes her skin that flawless, we want a bottle now!

  • London Fashion Week: Burberry and Mark Fast

London Fashion Week | Burberry and Mark Fast

We’ve had New York, and now it is time for London’s very finest fashionistas to don their Mulberry bags and throw on their Louboutin shoes as London fashion week kicked off this weekend. We’ve seen Vivienne Westwood, Eudon Choi and Topshop Unique hit the catwalk with their SS13 collections and we have loved every minute of it.

This week we will be taking you through our favourite shows and who was on the FROW:

    Burberry…

As one of the most eagerly anticipated shows of the LFW calender, Burberry Prorsum models hit the catwalk in a flash of metallic pinks, violets and blues – complete with killer heels and aviator shades. Christopher Bailey has really outdone himself this time. Although the show wasn’t as impressive as last years fake rain extravaganza, the chiseled models, clean cuts and A-List FROW made up for it.

    The celebs…

Super hot model Tali Lennox looked mature beyond her 19 years at the Burberry show – we were loving the blue and taupe stripes (not sure about the leather hat though).

One Direction heartthrob and cougar lover Harry Styles, donned one of his favourite blazers (this boy likes suit jackets the way Caroline Flack loves shorts), and was one of the key guest on the front row. Haz was sat dangerously close to Anna Wintour – possible cougar alert!

Reality star and clothes horse Olivia Palermo pulled off the office chic look fabulously, with tailored trousers, jacket and slicked back hair – we love and loathe this girl in equal measures.

Vogue legend Anna Wintour and master photographer Mario Testino found something funny – we didn’t think Anna smiled? Perhaps The Devil Wears Prada was a gross misrepresentation?

    Mark Fast…

Mark Fast pulled out all the stops at his show with the sexy disco style outfits and sounds of 80s – we thought at one point we were out clubbing. Daisy Lowe looked ready to bust a move in this black fringed dress (perfect for a night out).

The vivid colours of the eighties featured throughout the collection and the textured micro mini is back for SS13 – we had better start our workout now.

    The Celebs…

Mark Fast fans Kelly Brook and Pixie Lott looked delightful on the FROW. Kelly sported a purrfect leopard print dress, complete with red talons. Whilst Pixie adopted the understated chic look with calf high boots and blue tunic dress – both ladies looked gorgeous though!

  • Vogue’s Star Studded Fashion Night Out 2012

Celebrity Fashion | Vogue’s Big Night Out

All you shopping addicts were in your element last night as Vogue’s Fashion Night Out hit London town. The annual event which sees fashionistas sling on their best Jimmy Choo’s and hit the shops and join in on the fashion fun. Shops such as Acne, Louis Vuitton and Topshop played host to DJs such as Jameela Jamil spinning the decks and some of the UK’s hottest models strutting their super fine bodies down the makeshift catwalks in department stores.

If you were unlucky enough to not make it out last night, here’s a run down of our top 5 fave moments from last night:

    (1) Christian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin launched the exclusive Highness Dragon Tattoo shoe for women, the Henri Dragon Tattoo for men and accompanying Dragon Tattoo iPad case, with a chance to win them all at FNO yesterday evening. Unfortunately, we didn’t win a pair, but the talented staff at the Mount St flagship boutique read our tarot and said we were going to meet the man of our dreams – we hope they were telling the truth.

    (2) House of Fraser

As we made our way up Oxford Street, we had to take a sneak peak in House of Fraser (it’s one of our fave department stores you know) and we were greeted by glasses of champagne and catwalk shows. We got our dancing shoes on as Jo Whiley spun the decks and were wowed by Mark Fast’s new collection – we may have bought a few things too. Ooops.

    (3) Longchamp

We may have at least three Longchamp bags in various colours, but there is always room for a few more to add to the collection. Last night, we hop, skipped and jumped to the French fashion labels flagship store where fashion savvy television presenter Jameela Jamil offered her djing talents. It was a great party and we now have another bag to hide from our partners.

    (4) Topshop

Topshop’s flagship store, or our Mecca as we like to call it, not only provided us with an amazing acoustic set from Delilah, but they glammed us up too – we have the coolest looking nails this morning. We had a sneak peak at some of the new collection and we are now several hundred pounds lighter – at least we will look good!

    (5) Mulberry

British Vogue Editor Alexandra Sulman co-hosted the super stylish party with Mulberry’s Creative Director Emma Hill. Guests included Daisy Lowe (above), Pixie Geldof, Jasmine Guinness and Laura Bailey – everyone looked so fabulous we were a little bit jealous. We were treated to champagne, canapes, goody bags and a look at the new collection. We now have our eye on a few bags which will be added to our Christmas list.

  • VIP Party: Graduate Fashion Week Gala and Awards

Graduate fashion week is important for not only the graduates but for big name designers who are looking to recruit the next big thing. The fashion show and awards have propelled many big name designers to the top including Danielle Scutt and Mary Katrantzou. So it was no surprise then that yesterdays Graduate fashion show at Earls Court attracted celebs and designers alike. Fashion designer Matthew Williamson was on hand to support the graduates along with is friend and muse, Daphne Guinness. Fashion icon Daphne looked beautiful in her black prom dress coat and platform heels. The style icon always looks immaculate and said this was due to some great make-up trickery and she keeps her perfect barnet in place with very affordable Lee Stafford Hold Tight Firm hairspray.

X-Tra Factor host Caroline Flack looked incredibly tanned and nautical at yesterdays fashion show. The television presenter, who since splitting from One Direction’s Harry Styles has never looked better. Caroline has great pins and loves to flaunt them, (we would too) and said she needs to make sure her legs are tanned before whipping them out. The bronze beauty said her fave product is St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. We had better get ourselves a can too.

Model, DJ and blogger Bip Ling looked like she had just gone back to school in her tartan mini and leather jacket. The graduate fashion week regular channeled the rock chick look well, from her fashion to her hair. The model said she pretty much rolled out of bed and just rubbed some Label M hair shaper into her locks to get a tousled look. This sounds good to us – looking good with minimal effort.

Model Daisy Lowe looked incredible in her casual ensemble. The knee length red dress, (how very K.Middy), leather jacket and 60s hair showed the other models how it’s done. Daisy always has immaculate make-up and said she is a big fan of British based brands. Yesterday she slicked on some Rimmel Colour Mousse to brighten up her peepers – we definitely want to get the London look.

Beauty Indulgence: Moor Mud Beauty Treatment

    Moor Mud Beauty Treatment

Used by: Kate Moss, Daisy Lowe, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Cattrall all love the mud experience treatment.

Where: The Dorchester offers a mud experience that loads of celebs are very fond of.

What happens: Mud has been used for centuries and it obviously works as celebs keep going back for more.  Strangely, the treatment involves exactly what is says…mud. You are placed in a bath of Moor mud, which is a thick, oil-looking substance. It isn’t as bad as you think its going to be and once you get in you feel relaxed and comfortable.  The mud is a mix of clay and serums which disperse fat and tones your skin to restore elasticity.

After the bath you get out, feeling very relaxed and a little sleepy. Your skin however feel amazing and its not until the next day that you realise just how good the treatment is. You are also given a scalp massage which is the perfect treat especially if your body is feeling tired and in need of some TLC.

Cost: It costs £100 for an hour and ten minutes.

  • VIP Model Fashion: Get Daisy Lowe’s Quirky Look

How smoking hot does Daisy Lowe look recently? We spotted the model at the Carphone Warehouse Appy Awards at Battersesa Power Station last night and she looked drop dead gorgeous. This year we think her best outfit was the one pictured above at the BA Great Britons Programme launch. The girly, rock chick look is so hot right now, we are getting burns just from the photograph alone. The leather jacket is our fave aspect of the ensemble, as it can be worn from season to season. You could look as cool as Daisy in this leather biker jacket from Lipsy. At£150 it is a little pricey, but for a real leather jacker, we think it’s a bargain. Click here to be a rock chick like Ms Lowe.

We love a model who likes to eat at the LLAVIP office, so Daisy is the perfect example of how you can look good AND have a healthy appetite. This has inspired us to look at her fashion history, with some really beautiful outfits which we adore, but some should never have made it past the runway show. See more below:

Daisy at CFDA Fashion Awards – 2010

Polka dots are so in right now, judging by this pic of Daisy in 2010, it seems they were never out. We have spent the week traipsing around the shops in search of a similar dress and found this little beauty from Next, and it’s even designed by our favourite Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell – all at the bargain price of £30, click here to buy.

Daisy at Hats exhibition at the V&A – 2009

The quirky model always looks so bloomin’ good in bright colours. Orange is so hot this season, we think we need to inject a little sunshine in our lives and this dress by BooHoo.com and is only £20! Click to buy.

    Daisy at Halo 3 launch – 2007

Oh Daisy, what have you got on? This shapeless, silver dress looks like something your Aunt might wear on a night out. The shoes are boring and she looks like she may have swam to the party – with that super greasy hair and all. Please say you have chucked these offensive items and have invested in some good shampoo?

  • VIP Venue: Follow The Celebs To Aqua Nueva

While French superstar DJ, David Guetta is traveling around the world playing at the hottest parties, his wife Cathy launched the new brand of watches by ICE at London’s Aqua Nueva yesterday. Now that Cathy is not setting the dance floor on fire every night, or maybe she is and is in recovery, she has turned her hand to something else. The French actress was joined by McFly guitarist Danny Jones, who took to the decks like a pro (we thought he was nearly as good as David!) Dutch singer/songwriter Esmee Denters also performed and has been rumored to be working with the French DJ. It was a fabulous party and the venue heightened the sense of luxury – we highly recommend checking it out.

Aqua Neuva is a Spanish restaurant, with a spectacular rooftop bar and combines flashes of bling with flashes of brilliance. Iberian Ham Croquettes, porcini mushroom and truffle risotto, Hake with black rice sauce, baby squid, alioli and a garlic and paprika dressing, are all mouth-wateringly delicious and very more-ish and it comes in sharing style platters to make eating a sociable experience. The bar has a superb choice of champagnes, wines and vodkas and waiters will always recommend vino which will compliment your food.

The KEY thing to know about Aqua Neuva is that there is at least one celeb event a month hosted at the venue, so if you hang around long enough or work in the area, then you will spot someone. The best way to go star gazing is to check out Twitter, as red carpet events will ALWAYS be talked about. But if you have a special event coming up and just want to say you went to the restaurant then this is what we recommend:

HOW TO GET IN: Dinner is pretty damn appetising and once you have tasted the Tapas you will think you have died and gone to Barcelona. Although the lunch menu is equally as nice, the clientele tend to be City workers on a business lunch. The evening has a much nicer atmosphere, even though City wags are still present, the overall scene is very relaxed yet entertaining. To book, either visit the website or call 0207 478 0540

HOW MUCH TO PAY: It’s not overly expensive for a swanky restaurant, although it’s not Nando’s. You are looking at paying at least £60 per person with a drink or two. But the food is beautiful and the service is incredible.

THE YAYS: (1) The glamorous interior and nothing more than perfect, roof-top terrace is enough to draw you in – plus it is home to LOTS of celebrity parties. (2)  The all-Spanish wine list is exquisite and we have yet to find a better bottle of Graciano Londono Rioja in London. (3) The tapas dishes are really excellent, with a clearly well sourced string of ingredients (our favourite was the Hake).

THE NAYS: (1) It’s a little bit showy for some, as you can expect plenty of alluring, well-heeled people – which may annoy some, but others will love. (2) Desserts are the restaurants achilles heel. The lemon tart with the banana and cookie ice cream is far too much for even the sweetest of tooth, and is the odd dish on the menu. (3) If you are looking for a light, non-stodgy meal, then this is NOT the place for you. All those ladies in their body con dresses and slight figures had better steer clear.

INSIDER KNOWLEDGE: The tomato bread and olive oil mash is Daisy Lowe’s favourite items on the menu – yum! It’s rumored that this is THE place Prince Harry loves to go before hitting the town hard.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN: Although you may be a little short of cash afterwards, you would of experienced a great venue and intense Spanish flavours. The most memorable event was watching an intimate gig by Alicia Keys here as she celebrated an album launch. At that event, we chatted to JLS and Aston Merrygold told us he wears women’s trainers as he is size 7. Random!

  • VIP Beauty: Daisy Lowe For Kiehl’s

At the VIP offices we love Kiehl’s Créme de Corps, and use any excuse to slather it on. It turns our dull, dry skin into a smooth, touchable canvas, and we love it! Daisy and her mum Pearl have teamed up to design the label for their annual charity edition of the iconic bottle. Not only will this ambulance in a bottle look delightful in your bathroom, £2 plus VAT of all 250ml and 500ml limited edition bottles sold will also be donated directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Now that’s got to be worth buying a bottle just for this reason!

To mark this beauty launch, the model and her fashion designer mum will be signing bottles at Selfridges on March 15th. So what are you waiting for? Not only does it make you feel beautiful, it also helps a great cause. Kiehl’s Since 1851 Crème de Corps charity edition label by Pearl and Daisy Lowe is exclusive to Selfridges and is available at stores from the 1st March 2012. Kiehl’s Since 1851 Créme de Corps 250m, £27

This isn’t the first time the duo have worked together on projects. They are both ambassadors for Christian Aid, and have spent many weeks working on a Brazilian fashion project called Costurart, which enabled women, including sex workers to design fashion pieces, making a living selling them and even modeling them at shows organised by the pair. Take a look at this video to see the great cause the glam pair support:

    “>

The mummy and daughter team also launched a vintage collection for Peacocks in 2011. The fashion forward women told us they think, “everyone should have access to the best clothes no matter what their financial situation is.” We couldn’t agree more Pearl, so for that reason, please do another line at the high street store! If you want to dress like the Lowe family, click here!

We wanted to know the secret to Daisy’s style and beauty success, and the model claims it’s pretty simple really. She told us that she lives in jumpsuits and her style tip is to wear them day and night, but just accesorise with earrings and a necklace. Daisy believes the key to looking good is to, “always take your make-up off, invest in a good lip balm and a good liquid eyeliner.”
