Not a year goes by without Elton John throwing a lavish party in aid of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The singer, who has always been a keen campaigner for raising awareness for AIDS and HIV, said we still have a long way to go before we make a breakthrough with the disease.

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey hosted the evening and kept the guests laughing all evening. Elton and David Furnish’s BFF Liz Hurley looked stunning in yet another thigh split ball gown. The English actress was accompanied by partner and cricket legend Shane Warne, who looked younger than he did five years ago – me thinks Liz may have insisted on a little face work for the Aussie.

Tamara Ecclestone looked radiant in white, although we do think she could have put the twins away. The socialite and reality star, who looked super glam with her smokey eyes said she has found the best black eyeliner to create that effect. Tamara said MACs Fluidline gives the best smokey effect and is super easy to apply. We think Monday afternoon treat for us.

Marina Diamandis of Marina and the Diamonds looked striking in a floor length black gown and little love hearts on her face. The singer, who is a favourite of Elton John said she was honoured to be part of the ball as raising awareness for this killer disease is vital.

Quirky London singer Eliza Doolitle looked wonderfully kooky in her see-through silver beaded dress. The fresh faced teen looked glowing and we had to ask about her skin secret. The singer told us that she is a massive fan of Garnier’s BB cream which gives her that smooth look but without all the make-up. We like the sound of that.

We love the Hoff – that is all.

Aston left the other JLS boys at home, along with his baseball caps and threw on a fancy suit – we approve Aston.

Here comes the bride, all dressed in (we are sure it’s white, but we will have to wait for the magazine deal). Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin Humes are now officially husband and wife, with what seems like the longest engagement in pop, (it’s not been THAT long, but it certainly seems like it).

Rochelle and Marv pictured above, emerged from their hotel room in Oxfordshire on Saturday morning looking like loves young dream. Although we cannot see the wedding dress yet, we do adore the Celeb Boutique ‘Leah’ dress and tan sky-scraper heels, check out Miss Selfridge for an IDENTICAL pair that the bride was sporting.

Pop’s cutest couple were joined by friends, family and showbiz pals at Oxfordshire’s Blenheim Palace on Friday afternoon. Rochelle’s bandmates and bridesmaids were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly and even had their own personalised tracksuits for the big day.

Newly weds Una Healy and Ben Foden looked almost as loved up as the happy couple. Una has snapped back to her pre-baby figure and told us only last week that she has cut out sugar and started power walking with the pram to shift the baby weight. We had better start walking to work.

Frankie Sandford’s boyfriend Wayne Bridge was nowhere in sight – perhaps he had enough after having a bust up with a guest at Una’s wedding a few weeks before.

X-Factor star Marcus Collins looked dapper in cropped green chino’s and a simple black vest. The Liverpool lad has been friends with the couple since his stint on the reality show and there are rumours that he sung at the wedding – we bet it brought a tear to the eye if he did.

Fellow JLS singer Oritse was hiding his mega hangover with a pair of shades on Saturday afternoon. The party boy had previously said he was going to make the most out of the wedding party – it certainly seems you did that Oritse.

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles was seen leaving the reception a little worse for wears – we bet there is many a 1D fan who wish they could be hanging onto his arm. Step away from the floppy haired one Una, you have Ben to keep you warm at night.

Blonde bombshell Mollie King looked glam, even in a velor tracksuit. The singer, who was also a bridesmaid had a beautiful glow and told us that she would be using St Tropez tan to give her that sunkissed look for the wedding.

Vanessa was looking casual cool with her new boyfriend in tow. We are loving VW’s style at the moment, (see our fashion post for super duper cool fashion ensembles).

Essex boy Olly looked scrummy in his black suit and white shirt combo. The single guy said he is still desperate for a girlfriend – Olly, we would like to help you out!

Little one of the group, Aston Merrygold looked a bleary eyed and unstable as he left the wedding reception. We have told you before Aston don’t drink too much, your body can’t take it!

JB and girlfriend Chloe looked sexy in black – could these crazy kids be next down the aisle?

The Event: Brit Awards 2012 After Parties

The Venue: Two Temple Place, Tate Modern, Arts Club, Aura Nightclub

The VIPs: Plan B (above with Zoe), Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Caroline Flack, One Direction, Rihanna, Adele, Kanye West,  Nicole Scherzinger, Pixie Lott, JLS, The Wanted, Professor Green – all partying at different locations across town. INSANE!

The Gossip: (1) Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna, decided not to let her birthday hangover get the better of her at the Brits party. The Barbados born singer hit the town the night before with new mate, Chloe Green. The sexy singer looked amazing after her performance at the Brits as she partied at the Universal music after-party held at the Tate Modern. Sponsored by Bacardi, the drinks were flowing!

(2) The Party Squad sampled some of the Ciroc ultra premium vodka at the Warner Music after party, and so did Plan B. You can maybe see that from the photo above? After we complimented Plan B on last year’s performance, when he staged a fake riot, he said: “it’d have been good to do something like that again but they wouldn’t let us this year. It’s too close after the Tottenham riots and so we can’t do anything controversial.” Instead Plan B, focused on presenting an award to Ed Sheran and really enjoying the after-party. We liked his style! He was surrounded by glamorous girls and enjoying attention from everyone – we lose track of who he tried to chat up.

(3) Talking of chatting people up, we saw boxer Amir Khan surrounded by girls and at one point he had his hand on a girls bottom. Lets just say it didn’t look like his fiancee Faryal Makhdoom. Naughty, naughty! He only got engaged in January.

Cheska Hull from Made in Chelsea was also in attendance at the Warner music party with her co-star and flatmate Olly Lock, hanging out in the Adidas room. Cheska had two bits of exciting goss for us. Firstly, Made In Chelsea has been signed up by American network NBC who are responsible for broadcasting Downton Abbey in the States. Made In Chelsea could therotetically now do as well as Downtonin America (Emmy’s, TV awards galore..) But most immediately, Cheska is adopting a dog from the Battersea Dog’s Home today. Let’s hope she doesn’t have a hangover so can deal with the barking!

X Factor winner Matt Cardle was gracious about everyone who had won awards. Let’s not forget that Matt won the X Factor a few years ago, while One Direction won a Brit and were just runners up. That would have made anyone feel better. But lovely Matt said: “they’ve got a lot of fans so they should have won it. Hopefully it’ll be me another year.” Matt’s determined to succeed in the music industry and said he was currently working on his second album. He said he’s hoping to collaborate with some interesting people to raise his profile a bit. Good strategy, Matt!

(5) Talking of talent, we spoke to comedian Jack Whitehall, who we think is fit (above). Jack told us his brother Barney had now followed in his footsteps as a comedian and said he could even be funnier than him, just slightly fatter. Apparently Barney will do his first ever Edinburgh comedy festival this year – watch out for him!

(6) Hip Hop superstar Kanye West was at the Universal party at the Tate Modern getting down an dirty with Rihanna. The American singer was a little worse for wear at the end of the night, and in typical Kanye style annoyed pretty much everyone…

(7) JLS were in full party mode last night and single man Aston was seen flirting with all the ladies at the Sony party at the Dover Street Arts club. His wingmen for the night were One Direction!

(8) The ex-girlfriend of a One Direction, Caroline Flack, kept her distance at the after-parties. She attended the Warner party (with us) while One Direction stayed at the Arts club Sony bash. Lots of people came up to Caroline and asked “where’s Harry” and she was not impressed. Bet she’s kind of regretting that relationship now!

(9) Strangely, the cast of TOWIE are so close that two of the female members like to go into the same toilet cubicle. This meant we all had to queue for the toilet longer as the girls took ages. We’re not impressed at all. We said that on Twitter last night and we stand by it this morning.

(10) And finally, the LiveLikeaVIP team have our own acceptance speech, Thanks to Smooth You for making Zoe’s hair look amazing and to Sophie Stafford for the gorgeous make-up that lasted all night.

I’m so impressed (and jealous) that people are now using my celeb spotter map to tell me of boyband sightings. In fact, I wish I’d been there to get the same things – you guys are catching up on me in the celeb spotting stakes. If anyone beats me, I’ll give the winner a VIP meal night and club night at the venues of their choice anywhere in the UK. Let the challenge begin!

The Gossip: (1) Yesterday JLS touched down in L.A. and were immediately rushed by fans. They’re not as huge in America as they are in Britain – not yet anyway – so their reception was more a few people politely asking for autographs than a throng of screaming girls. JLS-mania, this was not. But we’re please they got some attention.

(2) The band hopped the Atlantic to record new material for their second album. Aston Merrygold Tweeted: ‘Woooo LA baaaaaaaby! We are guna write some BANGERS for u all!!!! Ax’. Presumably these ‘bangers’ include lyrics about girls who he really wants to get with, a few ‘baby baby oh yeahs’, and several key changes. That’s if he even picks up a pen at all.

(3) Straight after touching down at LAX Merrygold went shopping at the Beverley Centre. His trousers crossed two lines: the one between fashionable and ridiculous, and the line where you trousers are SUPPOSED TO GO. He almost looked an optical illusion as his trousers steadily dropped further and further, making his legs look tiny.

(4) JB didn’t have time to shop at Traffic with Merrygold or pose with Marvin and Ortise – he was reportedly held up at immigration!

The Gossip:

1) The smallest of JLS, Aston Merrygold treated a handful of his friends to a night at Cirque Du Soir nightclub for a lads night out. Unfortunately Marvin, Oritse and JB weren’t invited.

2) Aston and his troop began pre-drinks at Mayfair hotel moving onto the night spot in Mayfair at around midnight.

3) Mr Merrygold lived to his name of being merry joining the performers at the club in drumming to entertain his guests. But after all that thumping the bleary-eyed singer left at 3am. Check the heartthrob out above

4) The little hunk and his posse ordered three magnums of Belvedere vodka totaling his bill to £2,000! This would explain why Aston looked a little worse for wear.
