Last night saw the stars band together to raise some money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Celebs piled into Cuckoo Club in London’s Mayfair to swap clothes to raise money for the cancer charity. The cocktails were flowing, the cupcakes and popcorn was delicious and best of all, a lot of money was raised during the event.

Made in Chelsea star Amber Atherton was spinning the decks all night (we didn’t even know she DJ’s). The blogger and reality star was there to provide the banging tunes and to raise some money. The Sloane Ranger couldn’t stop talking about how she has been using Elizabeth Arden’s 8 hour lip balm (we couldn’t help but noticed her lips looked silky smooth), and she ‘never leaves the house without it.’ To keep your VIP lips silky smooth, clickhere to buy it.

Lingerie model Jessica-Jane Clement attended the event and said on Twitter that she went home with a lot of clothes. Jealous!! Jessica previously confessed she has three wedding dress options for her upcoming marriage to hairdresser Lee Stafford, just in case she changes her mind on the day. We were loving Jess’s glittery eye make-up which she says is thanks to Barry M dazzle dusts – that’s our lunchtime purchase sorted.

VIP Beauty: We Test The ghd Air Hairdryer

There’s nothing like a good blowdry to make you instantly feel more VIP, so I have some news that may put a smile on your face. Ladies, it is now even easier to achieve a salon-looking blowdry at home thanks to the new ghd air hairdryer.

Ok, I cheated in the first instance as I went to a pre-fashion week pop-up salon hosted by ghd and got a professional blow dry (as you can see above). BUT then I was talked through all the features and I am almost lost for words.

It comes with a 3m long cable, which I like because my mirror is nowhere near my plug socket. It has a massive 2100w voltage so you can get volume right up to the root of your hair to make it big and bouncy (tres VIP).  And the concentrated nozzle means that you can hold it up to the air as you brush so it goes nice and sleek and frizz free.

Since practising at home, I can confirm that it is better than any other dryer I have tried to date. It’s not 100% like what the experts did for me but it is a million times better than what I used to do when attempting to style myself.

I’m so impressed that I am going to record a video of myself using it. The camera doesn’t lie! Watch this space, I’m off to find my tripod.

VIP Party Picks: Werewolves and Jewellery

What do you get when you mix ladies of the night with mythical creatures? Why, the new movie, Strippers vs Werewolves of course! This new Brit flick directed by Jonathan Glendning stars Robert Englund, Billy Murray, Martin Kemp and Lucy Pinder, and they all turned out to the premiere at the Apollo, in Piccadilly Circus last night. The plot revolves around the chief werewolf Jack Ferris’s death at the hands of a group of strippers. These fun-loving ladies have until the next full moon to find a way to keep the bloodthristy werewolf pack at bay when they return to seek revenge.

The cast includes glamour model Lucy Pinder who seems to have put her topless career on hold, whilst she pursues a future in film. The page three beauty plays a vampire bride in the tongue-in-cheek horror flick. When we caught up with Lucy at the premiere yesterday she said she is ready to have a career change and thinks film is ideal for her. Hmmmm, we’re not too sure about that, but we think your image change is fabulous. The model told us that she uses less make-up as it looked too heavy before. She said she loves Lancome Teint Miracle, which is light, but gives you amazing coverage. Next stop for us is the Lancome counter at HOF.

The film is released April 27th.

The Event: Elizabeth Arden’s Celebrating An Icon Party

The VIPs: Holly Valance, Tamara Ecclestone, Trinny Woodall, Susannah Constantine, Amber Atherton

Yes!!! It’s finally here. The launch all you beauty fanatics have been waiting for. Elizabeth Arden’s fragrance free 8 Hour Cream has now officially landed. The 80-year old wonder balm has been a staple product for many a VIP, with celebrities such as Florence Welch calling it a ‘first-aid box in a tube.’ Curing burns, chapped lips, sores and adding a glossy sheen to eyebrows, this cult product does it all. The launch party housed a bunch of crazed, 8-Hour junkies, and we had a front row seat:

The Gossip: (1) Poor Holly Valance. The talk that was on everybody’s lips was the appearance of her orange skin. The Strictly star may have lashed on the tan for the dance competition, but what’s her excuse now, eh? Other than the Willy Wonka factor, the Aussie looked stunning as she attended the launch of the revamped cream. The soon to be Mrs Candy said she will be teaching Nick a few moves for their impending wedding, and still dances at least once a week. Click here to find a ballroom club near you, and keep dancing!

(2) Billionaire heiress Tamara Ecclestone donned a multi-coloured dress and electric blue heels to the beauty event. Bernie Ecclestone’s Puppy-loving, private jet-hopping, reality show daughter, showed that once again she doesn’t have a real job. Tamara spent the evening convincing everyone that Channel 5 will commission a new series of ‘Billion $$ Girl.’ The socialite said she was very anxious to get back to ‘work,’ but for now is enjoying going to events. It’s a hard life, isn’t it Tamara?!

(3) Fresh from her ‘date’ with Guns ‘n’ Roses guitarist Slash, Trinny Woodall looked liked the cat that got the cream. The fashion stylist, who looked great at the event, had been spotted on a dinner date with the American rock star. The pair met through Trinny’s ex-husband Johnny Elichaoff, who happens to be BFF with the hell-raiser. The television star stayed tight lipped about her ‘friendship’ with Slash, but the smile spread across her face spoke volumes. Ooooh, we can see a love triangle forming!

(4) Made in Chelsea star Amber Atherton attended under an official capacity yesterday evening. The blogger and reality star was there to review the launch and to road test the product. VIP Celeb Spots: Amanda Holden And Five More

The celebrities have been out in full force this week, so we’ve rounded up the top five spotted!

1.) Amanda Holden was treading the boards, of London’s Theatre Royal yesterday. The former Shrek star took along baby Hollie to give her the first taste of the limelight. Awwww, doesn’t she look cute!!

2.) Little Mix‘s Jesy Nelson was seen rehearsing for the X-Factor tour yesterday. The shows winner unveiled a new, Rihanna style hair colour. A newly slimmed down Jesy, looked more happy to be there than her fans! We’re a little bit jel though as she gets to share the stage with the JLS boys.

3.) Christina Ricci was seen coming out of the Radio 1 studios yesterday. The pint sized, Pan AM actress was being interviewed by Fearne Cotton about her new show and upcoming films.

4.) Made in Chelsea star Amber Atherton attended Bjorn Borg’s pre-LFW party. Amber would not stop talking about the new series of MIC. Yawn!!

5.) Katherine Jenkins was belting out her signature tunes at the opening night of her tour. The Hammersmith Apollo went absolutely crazy for her and so did other celebs including all the X-Factor contestants.
