VIP Animal Party: Purrrfect Collars and Coats Ball

Celebrity Party | Collars and Coats Ball

If there is one thing celebrities love more than their diamonds and riches, it is their pets. Last night saw the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Collars and Coats Ball. Stars such as Amanda Holden, Tamara Ecclestone and Danielle Lineker, who all have a furry friend said they need to create more awareness for the charity, as the animal charity is always in desperate need of donations.

Amanda Holden looked stunning in a fishtail gown  said she was super excited to be starting another series of Britain’s Got Talent soon and she can’t wait to be reunited with Simon again. The Britain’s Got Talent judge looked like a true English Rose and we love her pink lips. Amanda confessed that she is in love with Stila lip glosses, and was wearing yumberry shade to the charity event.

Olympic athlete Rebecca Adlington looked well rested after her sporting summer and said she is already back in training – this girl knows how to punish herself doesn’t she?!

Tamara dazzled her guests in a extremely low cut dress and killer heels. We always adore the F1 heiress’s make-up and the charity campaigner said she is obsessed with the new Clinique chubby sticks and had two in her clutch bag. She said they give you a fantastic sheen on your lips and it moisturises them too. Get us to Clinique now.

Danielle looked drop dead gorgeous in a floor length illusion dress. The WAG was showing us how yummy a mummy can look and we are super jealous. We asked Dan how she appears so glowing after her hectic family life and the model said she uses Estee Lauder Day wear BB cream to give herself a soft sheen.

Made in Chelsea star Cheska Hull wore a bizarre pattern dress and accessorised with her beloved pooch. The Bridget Jones of Chelsea said the series is going to heat up and the tension between Binky and Jamie will come to quite a dramatic head – ooooooh we can’t wait!

    VIP Premiere: Gambit

    Celebrity Premiere | Gambit

The best of Hollywood and British cinema lined the streets of Leicester Square for the premiere of Gambit. The films stars Cameron Diaz, Colin Firth and Alan Rickman hit the red carpet and couldn’t stop nattering about the film.

Gambit centers on British art curator Harry Deane (Colin Firth) who devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England’s richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar (Alan Rickman), into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen (Cameron Diaz) to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.

Cameron Diaz looked beautiful in Stella McCartney, but we couldn’t help but notice that her boobs looked a little fuller than usual – if that is indeed a very good bra, we want to know where she got it from.

The bright blonde locks, smooth skin and red lips show us exactly why Cam is paid £20 million per movie. Most of all, we loved her Californian glow, which she said was not so much down to the sun rays, but courtesy of St Tropez Radiance Mousse. Click here to get a glow like Cameron.

Colin Firth looked as sexy as ever in a rather dapper suit, complete with waistcoat. The English actor was keeping tight lipped about perhaps reprising his role as Mark Darcy in a third installment of the Bridget Jones films. Oh we do hope so – we want to see another Firth and Hugh Grant fight!

VIP Charity: The Great Initiative Party

Celebrity Party | The Great Initiative Party

Last night the super swanky Corinthia Hotel played host to Mariella Frostrup’s charity bash The Great Initiative to raise money for gender equality. The party celebrated the release of bracelets designed by Boodles to raise money for the organisation.

Mariella, who has always campaigned for gender equality said the UK has come a long way in regards to gender rights, but we still have work to do. Hopefully, with great parties and celebrity backing we won’t have long until we can truly say we are equal.

Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens, who is rarely seen out in public is still looking as beautiful as she did in the S Club days. The  singer told us the key to looking fresh is to use a natural eyeshadow. She said Benefit’s silky powder shadow in ‘Blushing Bride,’ is her fave. To the Benefit counter we go!

Model and party girl Amber Le Bon was rocking the laid back cool look. The model has said she may be taking a break from the catwalk to focus on studying as she wants to enrich her education – very smart Amber. We were loving the brain box’s  60s eye flick, which she says is thanks to YSL Automatic Ink Eyeliner. Next stop for us is the YSL counter in Debenhams.

Jemima Khan and model Laura Bailey were both out in force to help BFF Mariella launch the bracelets. Laura, who has previously launched her own charity bracelets said being involved in a charity and seeing how it can help people’s lives is more rewarding than anything she has ever done in her career. We wish more people were like you Laura.

Taylor Swift Lights Up Westfield For Christmas

The Christmas sandwiches are in the shops, the ice rinks are opening and now it’s time for the Christmas lights switch ons – ho, ho, ho! While Oxford Street got Robbie Williams earlier this week, it was a much more glamorous affair at Westfield in West London, where Taylor Swift lit up the stage and switched on the lights.

Taylor’s newest album Red sold more than 1.2 million copies in it’s first week of release, making it the highest selling first week release since 2002, and so it’s little surprise she is wearing red. We’d milk it to if we were her. And just to complete the scarlet lady look, the 22-year-old singer added a dash of red lipstick. Do you like it? She recently revealed she was a big fan of MAC make-up, where red lipsticks start at £14.50. Thumbs up!

If you like her dress, we tracked down a similar one on the Very.co.uk website – the Ted Baker Kipp dress. The shape is super flattering as it cinches you in at the waist and flows out over the hips and bottom.

And now Westfield is looking a lot prettier it’s worth heading down to West London to have  a look. We recommend going on or after 22 November when Santa’s Grotto 5-D experience launches. No, we don’t know what 5-D means either but we do quite fancy pushing past the kids to investigate. Click here to book tickets

The lights at Westfield Stratford are due to go on soon and we hear Rihanna is one of the names rumoured to be doing the honours. Watch this space!

    VIP Awards: MOBO Awards 2012

Celebrity Awards | MOBO Awards 2012

As soon as Emeli Sande stood on the Olympic stage we knew she was destined for great things. Saturday night saw Emeli scoop three MOBO awards at musics’ most prestigious ceremony. Held at the ECHO arena in Liverpool, the biggest names in music made their way up North to celebrate each others success. Not only did Emeli win THREE awards, she also looked stunning. Check out our fashion round up here.

Plan B was looking pretty smug after picking up two awards. The ill Manors singer said he was happy with the awards and hopes the album will inspire young people to stay out of trouble and make a life for themselves.

JLS picked up the award for best video and couldn’t stop laughing and joking on stage. JB kept tight lipped about a possible trip down the aisle with Chloe. We have a feeling we had better get our wedding hats out.

Labrinth won the accolade for best song and couldn’t stop jumping around with excitement. We even heard that he may be opening up a new restaurant – that’s a dinner date we want to make.

Our fave girlband of the year Stooshe rocked the stage in PVC on Saturday night. We are loving the girls style and they said they may  be in talks with a fashion company to do a collaboration – Stooshe clothing? We cannot wait!

Rita Ora won her first MOBO as best newcomer and she said she couldn’t have done it without her fans – awww. The London singer looked gorgeous in white and her hair as ever, seemed unmoved. Rita recently told us that she puts her locks through so much, she is scared she is going to permanently damage it. Her hairdresser uses Aveda’s damage remedy as the natural elements in the product counter act the stress other product does to her tresses. Next stop Aveda.

We think Conor Maynard may be our new crush – isn’t he cute.

    The winners are…

    Best Female Act: Emeli Sandi
    Best Male Act: Plan B

VIP Electronic Party: Everything Everywhere Party

Celebrity Party | Everything Everywhere Party

It doesn’t sound too exciting when you say you are attending a mobile phone network party, but throw in a Pussycat Doll, reality stars and top notch singers then you know the party is going to be good.

Last night saw the launch of the new EE Network (Everything, Everywhere) and we didn’t realise how many celebs were interested in mobile phones. James Nesbitt hosted the electrical shindig, but it was Nicole Scherzinger who stole the show in a Twitter inspired dress. The frock had over 500 Swarovski crystals and over 2,000 LED lights, which spelt out Tweets from fans throughout the evening – wel, those American’s know how to do it.

Pixie Lott channelled vintage chic at last nights event in pearls and a doctors style bag. The Mama Do singer, who has been a little quiet on the singing front recently has said she is in the studio recording and her next track is not like anything she has ever done before – we’d like to hear a rap from Pixie. Please say it’s a rap.

Cheska Hull was without sidekick Binky last night, but said she is looking after her friend after Jamie has messed her around. The outspoken Made in Chelsea star said the biscuit heir has a lot to answer for. We were loving Cheska’s make-up last night and her lashes looked spectacular. The writer said she doesn’t use false lashes and she is obsessed with Bourjois Volume Clubbing mascara as it gives her body and length. We think perhaps this is her secret weapon to woo Sam.

TOWIE power couple Tom Kilbey and Lydia Bright looked so loved up we were a little bit jel. The super sweet pair said they were glad Arg has finally started to leave them alone, so they can now start looking forward to the future – do we hear wedding bells?!

The TOWIE troops were out in force last night, with Billie, Sam and Harry dolled up to the nines and looking REEM. Sam and Billie said they couldn’t believe Mick didn’t let Gemma in Sugar Hut and now it’s going to cause a massive rift throughout their circle of friends. Sam has assured us though that her and Joey are not splitting up and they just argue like any other couple. We are sooooo glad, we don’t think we can face seeing Joey cry again.

Natural History Museum Ice Rink Opening

Christmas is coming!!!! Love is in the air!!! And there’s a new fun way to get a bit fit and burn off the mulled wine – hurrah!

Last night the Natural History Museum outdoor ice rink officially opened with the Tower of London rink and Winter Wonderland soon to follow. And the celebrities tested the ice to make sure it was safe for the rest of us. Isn’t that nice of them?

Refreshingly, it looked like they were just as unsteady of their feet as the rest of us, with the exception of Tom from The Only Way Is Essex (above) but he is a former professional football player so we’ll let him off. Ricky Rayment and Jessica Wright (below) were not budding Torvils Nor Deans but we did like Jessica’s beret.

However, if you haven’t got a man to join you on the ice then don’t worry. TV presenter Stacey Solomon and ex Made in Chelsea vixen Kimberly Garner also took a spin with the skates solo showing that you don’t need to have a hot plus one to have fun. There’s a great cafe by the rink serving hot chocolate  and hot chocolate won’t fart in bed…

Anyway, to book tickets for the rink that is open until 6 January, click here

VIP Awards: Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2012

Celebrity Awards | Barclaycard Mercury Prize

There is always an awards show which celebrates the ‘alternative’ and the Barclays Mercury Prize is definitely one of them. Most of the nominees are relative newcomers to the music industry (apart from Plan B) and it is always a mystery of who will win. The who’s who in music lined the red carpet at Camden’s Roundhouse, with everyone on edge as to who will win.

Electronic band Alt-J won the coveted Mercury Prize said they only thought they had an 8% chance of winning. Well boys, now your dream can become a reality. Congratulations.

Hosts Nick Grimshaw and Lauren Laverne delivered suitable amounts of dry humour to the proceedings and made some cracks at each others expense. Lauren looked stunning in black vintage and the music veteran said since she has had kids, she never really bothers dressing up too much and her make-up only took ten minutes to do – somehow we don’t believe her.

Ben Drew a.k.a Plan B who was nominated for his album ill Manours,  said he wasn’t too upset that he didn’t win. But he did say he is starting to work on a campaign which will see the biggest names in music collaborating to put an end to illegal downloads – hmmm, we can’t see that happening Ben. Good luck with that one.  The London rapper turned director turned actor wore a trendy blazer and jumper and looked HOT. We are seeing a new side to Ben – PHWOAR!

One of our favourite music newcomers of the year Lianne La Havas, showed all the other ladies up in the style stakes. Lianne’s white, plunging maxi dress showed off her enviable figure. The soul singer said she had to do a lot of spinning to get into the frock.

Jessie Ware looked beautiful in a slashed floor length, black dress and scraped back hair – her dress was almost as sexy as her voice. The Londoner told us that she was wearing a Lipstick Queen Glossy Pencil, which she swears by, and has them in all the colours. That’s our lunchtime purchase sorted.

VIP Party: Jonathan Ross’s Halloween Party

Celebrity Party | Halloween in the UK

Halloween is one of our favourite holiday’s of the year and it looks like the celebrities of the UK and United States love it just as much as we do…

    Jonathan Ross’s Halloween Party

Lover of all things frightening, Jonathan Ross managed to throw a party better than the one last year – we thought that would be impossible. Decorating his house like a haunted castle, the quirky television star said he plan his halloween party a year in advance. You have gotta love Wossy!

Jack Whitehall went as a giant cockroach, whilst his girlfriend dressed up as a sexy, blood splattered nurse. What a handsome pair.

Holly Willoughby looked impressive as a zombie, complete with freaky red contact lenses. We don’t think Keith Lemon would approve.

Gary, Danielle and George Lineker went all out with their costumes as a mixture of vampires and a mummy – we think perhaps George’s trainers slightly ruined the scary look though.

We’re not overly sure if Helena Bonham Carter actually dressed up – she looked normal to us!

Kate Moss and husband Jamie Hince rocked the Morticia and Gomez Adams look. We think black hair could be a good look for kate – what do you think?

Jimmy Carr dressed as a ventriloquist and carried a dummy with him – we think that dummy looks a little too much like Jimmy. Creepy.

VIP Awards: Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Celebrity Awards | Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Another day, another awards show and it doesn’t get much ritzier than the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards. Fashion’s most influential women slipped their feet into their very best Jimmy Choo’s for the awards ceremony at super posh Claridge’s last night.

Stella McCartney won best British Designer, whilst Jessica Ennis, Victoria Pendleton and Ellie Simmons scooped the British Ambassadors of the year awards – we wonder if Stella claimed responsibility for the dodgy Olympic tracksuits?

Scottish singer Emeli Sande put her microphone down for five minutes to put her party pants on and let her hair down. The Heaven singer, who will be touring next year said she is not ruling out trying to break the US – do we see another Leona Lewis?

Yasmin Le Bon certainly doesn’t look her 48 years in s snakeskin print floor length dress. The model has a body to die for and said she owes it all to snacking on strawberries and Bikram yoga – we had better get our mats out now.

David Gandy, in a suit, looking scrummy. Enough said.

Fashion legend Vivienne Westwood committed the ultimate fashion sin by wearing socks with sandals. Queen Viv, it may be time to renounce your crown!

Marion Cotillard looked divine in Dior and said she is always happy to have an excuse to come back to the UK. We heart Marion’s style and her new flick Rust and Bone – click here for the review.

The Devil Wears Prada star Emily Blunt arrived wearing a statement orange gown. The actress, who divides her time between the UK and the States said she is thinking about making her time in England more permanent with her Chuck actor husband John Krasinski.

    The Winners are…

Stella McCartney – British Designer of the Year

Marion Cotillard – International Actor of the Year
