  • Celebs bring their broods to The Croods premiere

    the-croods-launch-1-sheet

British celebs and their cute offspring arrived at a special Mother’s Day screening of new animated flick, The Croods, on Sunday morning.

Elen Rivas and Sinitta arrived at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square with their little rascals in tow – both looking very glam for that time of the morning. I mean, Sinitta is wearing faux snakeskin at 10am  - how cool is that?

The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures – and their outlook is changed forever..

Voices for the characters come from Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds, who had to attend the New York premiere the day before. However, they did send the cuddly character they are with in the photo below -a character called Belt – who the celebrities’ kids were all loving.

For once, the Live Like a VIP team watched the film and think this could be one of the funniest films we’ll see all year. Forget Ice Age 4 or Madagascar 3 – this is The Croods 1. It’s UNIQUE. (Although we do hope there is a sequal as we want to see MORE!)

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Follow @zoegriffin on Twitter for non-stop showbiz chat!

The film is in cinemas on 22 March

  • Wit-woo: James McAvoy and Kelly Brook sizzle at Welcome to the Punch screening

Some people are just born beautiful aren’t they? Kelly Brook is no exception.

Arriving for the screening of James McAvoy’s new flick Welcome to the Punch, in a pair of skinny jeans, boucle jacket and heels – Kelly shows us she can look super hot even when her curves are contained.

Shrugging of catty comments from Katie Price, we think Kel looks anything but fat.

It wasn’t just kelly who looked hot to trot – star of the movie, James McAvoy looked pretty dapper. He’s still on our crush list.

The film follows former criminal Jacob Sternwood when he is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives detective Max Lewinsky one last chance to catch the man he has always been after. As they face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.

Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis, James Franco and Rachel Weisz attended Oz: The Great and Poweful premiere in London last night on the British leg of their film tour.

Whilst many fans were there to celebrate the new Disney offering, we couldn’t help but keep our mouth open at James Franco in a razor sharp suit. PHWOAR!

While Mila Kunis threw on an oversized and unflattering dress, Michelle Williams was the belle of the ball in a feathered bandeau gown.

Forget the Brit Awards – how boring! Last night saw the real rock and roll award show rip up London town – the NME Awards 2013.

With the likes of Florence Welch, Ronnie Wood and Jack Whitehall attending, the now infamous yearly bash did not let us down.

New grandfather Ronnie Wood, seemed to be having a few drinks to celebrate the arrival of little baby Rex, while comedian Jack Whitehall looked a little dazed and confused for most of the proceedings.

Although the champagne was flowing, it still didn’t distract us from the super fabulous outfits on display…
