What We’re Learning From VIP Transformations

My favourite celebrities constantly reinvent themselves. To stay relevant, they’ve had to keep up with the trends. They’ve worked out when something they were doing wasn’t making an impact anymore and they’ve been brave enough to cut all ties and switch direction.

We’re about to do the same with Live Like a VIP. After having two children in quick succession, I’m finding it harder and harder to go out at night. My lifestyle pre-kids is very different to my lifestyle post-kids and I want this blog to reflect it. I still want to Live Like a VIP, but it has to be more family friendly. We’re working on our updates right now and the plan is to launch the updated site at the end of the year.

Until then, here’s a little blog post about the mistresses of reinvention. If something isn’t working for you there’s absolutely no shame in admitting it and trying to find what’s more YOU! Life’s too short to waste it doing something you’re not passionate about. Just look at these gorgeous women for inspiration and motivation:

Madonna

She’s been cone-boobed Madonna, country chic Madonna (in the Guy Ritchie days), bad ass Madonna (with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland), cougar Madonna and mother Madonna – is there anything she can’t turn her hand at? Plus her body is incredible!

Victoria Beckham

She’s the most successful Spice Girl without a doubt. She wore tacky clothes in the Spice Girls and now she’s an ultra chic fashion maverick and mum of 4. She’s also the one that avoids reunions as she’s doing so well in her own right. If you find what works for you, there’s no reason to go back to what you were doing before unless you decide to do it on your own terms.

Shania Twain

Shania’s an inspiration as she was a chart-topping recording artist and then suddenly pulled out of the music industry. When she returned, she went straight to no. 1 despite competitions from all the youngsters. If you’re on the right path then don’t let competition bother you, do what you were born to do!
