I love the start of a year. It’s a time to do new things, a time when you can throw away the disappointments of the past and look to the future and a time to stop procrastinating and finally make a start on something you’ve wanted to do for ages. On that note, have you ever had a reading from a medium before?
I have just had my first ever reading, partly because I was introduced to an expert. Emma Kinsey has done readings for celebs like Michelle Heaton and Clare Buckfield and they rave about her. The other reason was because I couldn’t think of a reason why not to do it. What did I have to lose?
We arranged to do a reading over the phone, which I liked, as it was easy to fit it into my packed schedule. There’s shopping to do, meetings to get to, parties to attend – it’s hard to fit another a appointment into my diary right now but it’s a lot less time consuming to do a phone call.
Overall, I was very impressed by the amount of things Emma managed to get right about me including:
** She was talking to an older gentleman with the letter J – my grandad was called Jim
** My fiancé has some death / darkness surrounding his job – at the time he was in Cyprus and writing about the war in Syria
** There will be a family celebration in June – I’m getting married in July, which is close enough
** I’m going to be writing a book – I am indeed currently writing Get Rich Vlogging, which is a sequel to Get Rich Blogging
** A lot of family predictions including the sexes of babies that will be born and parents jobs / retirement
At some points, the sceptical people out there may point out there is a probability of 1 in 26 for picking a letter that means something to someone and a 1 in 12 chance that the month ‘June’ will mean something to someone, but it’s up to you how much belief you invest in it. Until you try it for yourself, you don’t know how it works.
Also, it wasn’t all right. There were some moments when I wondered if she was fishing in the dark. For example, January 2016 would be a happy month for me and a celebration and I honestly can’t think why that would be. It’s not a birthday or an anniversary or anything. Emma said she would leave it with me to see if anything happened. I couldn’t think of any reason why my fiancé would leave his job either but Emma said he would get a promotion. I have to say it’s unlikely as there aren’t that many options where he works but we’ll see. There is the possibility these predictions will turn out right and even if not, the fact that so many other things were spot on makes up for it.
However, it’s not just about the predictions. Emma’s telephone manner was really reassuring and comforting. It made me feel like I was talking to an old friend and when I heard that there were so many exciting things for me in the future I couldn’t help but end the phone conversation feeling happy. If the predictions come true then it’s a bonus as I feel in the right state of mind to make some luck for myself in 2016.
