Frightfully good celeb Halloween parties 2013

We love Halloween for the sake of seeing – usually – perfectly-groomed celebs letting their hair down and embracing their ghoulish side. This year was, of course, no exception. We had high expectations for Heidi Klum, who didn’t disappoint and, as usual, Jonathan Ross’ annual bash went down a (trick or) treat. Here’s our pick of last night’s best celeb haunts:

Heidi Klum enjoyed her favourite holiday in the usual way – by throwing her own party for the 14th year. Heidi took the daring approach of dressing up as an old lady – and looked fantastic for it! (in an ‘only on Halloween’ kind of way).

Nicole Scherzinger showed us how to do sexy Halloween PVX without looking trashy, as she wowed as Catwoman at Jonathan Ross’ party. She teamed the look with sky-high heels.

Russell Brand’s latest cast-off Jemima Khan opted for Black Swan attire as she arrived at the UNICEF Halloween Ball in Mayfair with ex-husband Hugh Grant – perhaps a message for revolutionist Brand. Hugh Grant’s choice in costume, however, was probably the poorest effort of the night – a simple last-minute face mask (perhaps to hide the shame of his lack in effort).

Meanwhile, Helen Flanagan arrived fashionably late to the Mirror Ball in Manchester, dressed as Disney fairy Tinkerbell. Not really a scary costume choice – aside from her decision to wear it without a bra…

It seems Wossy’s annual bash really was the place to be last night, with the best selection of celeb costumes on offer, and the host himself looking rather impressive as David Bowie’s Labyrinth character Jareth.
