Here at LLAVIP, we love Alexa Chung’s style and natural looks — so we were pretty excited last week when the fashion icon released her first book; It. The book pieces together writings from some of Alexa’s notebooks, her doodles and a fair few photographs from glamorous nights out.
For those who wish they could have made it to the London launch on the 4th September, there’s still a chance to meet Alexa Chung and add her signature to the many other doodles and personal effects of the book. Alexa will be in Manchester at the Deansgate Waterstones this Monday (9th September) from 1PM.
Personally, I love going to these type of events, and Waterstones is particularly good for inviting VIP authors and celebrities along to meet and greet the public. This week I attended a small launch party at a local Waterstones book store and to my surprise ended up meeting not only the author, but Hollywood stuntman Roy Scammell, who has appeared in tones of movies, including Bond movies: The Spy Who Loved Me and Golden Eye.
Happy meeting and greeting – be sure to let us know if you have any lucky or surprising tales of your own along the way! @zoegriffin.
