Who We Chose For Teen Queen UK Paegant

The Live Like a VIP team love fashion, glamour, independent women and a great night out, so ed Zoe was over the moon to be asked to judge at the Miss Teen Queen UK finals recently. Look at her smiling (above right), the face is in danger of cracking.

It was a TREMENDOUSLY difficult task for Zoe and the judging panel, (which consisted of Victoria Halliday from Fake Bake, John Fowler from the Curtis Brown agency, Sean and Sarah Smith from pop band Same Difference, Mai Lee from the Mai Lee Beauty Academy and Claire Norman frm Mizz Magazine). But we did it and we can announce there are two new stars in town. The Teen Queen (left) is Brooke Jones from Coulsdon, aged 16,and the Teen Princess (right) is Molly Martindale from Reigate, aged 13. I don’t know what I looked at their age, but I know it wasn’t as glam as this:

Last year’s Teen Queen, Samantha Laight (in white below left) ended up winning the European championships and with Brooke, we have a brilliant chance of doing equally as well. She’s such a natural on the catwalk. I wish I knew how she had such great poise at such a tender age.

Another high of the night was chatting to the event hosts, Hollyoaks’ John Pickard and former Big Brother star Josie Gibson. John’s looking really trim right now and when I commented him on his hot bod he revealed his secret was yoga. In fact, he said he practises it at the pub he owns in London, the Chilled Eskimo. That really makes me want to visit that pub, located near Ladbroke Grove tube station, for a chance of seeing John working out!

Earlier this year, we told you about singer Matt Woods, who had a showcase at Ronnie Wood’s jazz club. Can we just state again that this man is fantastic. It seems like he really feels the music when he sings, he’s not your average voice for hire. Yes, he may be incredibly good looking but he and the Teen Queen winners prove that sometimes you can have beauty and talent. Check out Matt’s website now and see what you think for yourself.
