VIP Beauty: Lana Del Rey American Idol Apperance

Lana del Rey is getting ready to captivate audiences around the world tonight as she performs on American Idol. We can guarantee women will be sighing in contempt as the Bambi-esque prettiness of the haunting singer will seems so out of reach. Since bursting onto the music scene only a mere few months ago, the New Yorker has not only created beautiful tunes, but an alluring look to match. Lana’s porcelain skin and just pinched cheeks, big lashes and long talons have been the envy of women around the world.

With her hectic career and world tour about to commence, (she is playing the Lovebox festival on July 17), we wonder how the Born to Die singer has the time to make herself look so good. How does she do it? We’ve trailed through the archives and this is Lana’s tried and tested products:

(1) YSL Rouge Pur Couture Golden Lusture, £23.5

Lana loves YSL lipstick and her colour of choice is ‘Blonde Ingenue.’ Talking behind the scenes at the Mulberry fashion show, the singer has told Grazia magazine she was inspired by her friend Pam, who always had pillow like lips, to slick on some YSL. We want big, red lips too, so we are clicking on the YSL website to get us some of that.

(2) Babyliss Curling Wand, £18.49

The ‘Video Games’ singer achieves her trademark 60′s wave by using ordinary curling tongs. To get hair like Lana, grab a pair of these Babyliss wands to transform your hair into vintage cool. Click here to buy.

(3) Nivea Tinted Moisturiser, £4

The American beauty told Grazia magazine that she uses tinted moisturiser instead of foundation as it’s a lot lighter on her skin. To get this dewy glow, we recommend Nivea’s tinted moisturiser to give you a soft, even coverage. Want to buy? Click here.
