VIP X Factor Preview: Judges Guide

X Factor starts tomorrow but there’s a whole new judging panel. Are you keeping track of it all? We’ve had a look back at our fave judges of all times because we are really, really excited about the new series!

Basically Sharon’s out, Cheryl’s in, Dannii’s out, Tulisa’s in, then Cheryl bags it Stateside then gets the elbow, then Nicole and Kelly’s in and well insipidly Paula didn’t pinch anyone’s spot!

What do we think then?

Out of the seven babes of the broadcast, Sharon Osbourne (above) is the oldest and distinctly most ill-advising mentor. The 58 year-old is only somewhat musically-credible so comes last as the X-Factor empress. Sorry Shaz!

We’re not doing this in age order but in sixth place is a 49 year-old Paula Abdul (above). Ab-dull is the ‘nice’ umpire (from what we’ve seen on American Idol), but still looks trendy and has sold over 60 million records worldwide. So why the low position? As the other mamas put up a good scrimmage!

Five albums, four films and a baby later, we think Dannii Minogue (above) has an important background showing she knows the ropes behind show-business. Plus she is classy and constructive!

This might leave you open-mouthed but with the amount of times Cheryl Cole said ‘swagger’ and oodles of tragedies she was mixed up in, the once upon a time reality TV star started sending us to sleep. But points awarded for her twenty-something top ten hits and top drawer sense of style!

Nabbing the third spot is ex-Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland (above) who is plausible for her previous group and solo success. And the frosting on the cake is she has a voice and can talk through experience about how to sing properly

Tulisa Contostavlos (above) is the doppelganger of Sir Alan Sugar but in the music microcosm. The lady of N-Dubz began her game aged 13, growing up in North London’s Camden Town where she became recognised for her group’s rise and memorable lyrics like “my name’s Shaniqua and what!”

We caught a peep of our Queen of X Factor on the UK’s version in 2010. And taking into mental analysis this doll’s vocal reach, performance perfection and that she emerged from a television talent show in 2001. We crown Nicole Scherzinger to have that zing that the X-Factor is all about. All hail Nicole!
